Faith Cordelia

Faith’s Life
Prologue- There was a girl named Faith Cordelia. She was sweet, caring, fun loving and  cheerful but she had a dreadful past. She always sounds happy but she is actually very sad. She keeps lots of things to herself. She has a diary too, she writes everything in her diary and keeps it in a place where nobody can even reach. This is the story of Faith Cordelia.

~Faith’s Point of View~ (POV)

“YOU KNOW I,LL BE YOUR VOICE, YOUR LIFE, YOUR REASON TO BE” my alarm clock blurted out.

Ugh. It’s Monday again…YAY! (Note the sarcasm) I got out of bed and put on my bunny slippers and hid the alarm clock under my bed without looking at the time. Once again my parents weren’t home. You see, both of my parents are entrepreneurs so they are never ever home. I lazily went towards the bathroom and took out my pink toothbrush. While I was brushing I took a quick glance at the clock and guess what? It was 5:07am! I still have three more hours till school! I only knew one person who could do this.

“AUSTIN! GET HERE THIS INSTANT!” I yelled out.  Austin was my small brother. We are half Irish and half Mexican and quarter Hispanic. I always wondered if he was a leprechaun in the past.  No sign of Austin. I went to his room upstairs and entered his room without knocking. He made a stupid rule that no one can enter his room without knocking. Well, I ain’t following that rule. He was not in his room too. ARG! I went to his so called ‘secret place’ and found him playing video games at 5:10 in the morning!

I took him by his ear and led him  to the living room and ignored all his ‘Ouch’s and Owh’s. “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!”  I screamed at him.  “b-b-eca-use  I..I  t-hought  i…t  wouldbefunny!” he shuttered but said the last part too fast. “Say the last part again!” I said angrily but calm too. “I thought it would be funny” he whispered in a tone full of fear.
“Don’t ever do that again! Understand?” I said.  I am more like a mother to him than a sister. “Okay, mom” he said. I walked  away after he said ‘Okay’. I went to the bathroom and started brushing again. After that, I took a bath for 15 minutes in hot boiling water
then wrapped myself in a towel and went towards my bedroom. I brushed my long blonde hair and did an Edwardian braid. I went over to my closet and took out my blue ruffled no-sleeve top and grey short skirt and my half –leather jacket. I took a quick glance at the time. It was 7:45am. WOW! Time passes fast! I quickly put on my Suede boots and ran to my AudiR8. Yes, I know what you are thinking. My parents are ridiculously rich and I hate it. I drove to my school,  Holmes Chapel Comprehensive. Eee! I am soo late! I mean not late for class but late like in my bully, Harry, is always near the fountain where my first class is. I walked slowly without making any sound so Harry wouldn’t notice and to my bad luck, he did. I was frozen, I couldn’t move. He walked towards me and said “oh hey! Look who’s here! Aww…did your mother dress you up again?” he said. I didn’t say anything, I just kept walking to my class. Really, I didn’t know why he bullied me.

*FLASHBACK*
I was sitting on the swing, minding my own business. I was 5. Then this random boy came behind me and pushed me to the ground. “Hey! Why did you do that?” I said in tears. “There will be more later, just wait.” He said and ran away.
*FLASHBACK OVER*

Harry, Harry Cavans was my bully for 12 years. Today I am 17 years old. I was sitting in my class, drawing on a piece of paper and suddenly a paper ball hit me. I looked up and saw Harry smirking. I sighed and opened it. It read “meet me in the Meadow park after school.” Uh Oh…I remember the last time I didn’t do what he said and he almost killed me the next day. I ended up in a hospital.

(A/N: I am going to skip the school part and start from the Meadows)

~Harry’s POV~

I was waiting for Faith in the park. I hope she shows up. I have a really special surprise for her.

~Faith’s POV~

I reached the bench and saw Harry by the bench. I went over and said “What do you want?”

“oh look who’s acting smart now! SHUT UP” he said and pushed me. I landed on the ground in a thud. My body was aching in pain. “Oh no! Fay! Are you hurt? Don’t worry! There will be more!” After he said that, I saw his whole gang coming towards me. I closed my eyes and whimpered.

The next thing I knew was my world was silent again…….

Strangers in The Night

Strangers in the Night


There was a kind businesswoman named Amy. She was a very intelligent, beautiful girl with a bright smile and brown hair. She didn’t like deck herself up with formal business attire that the professionals normally do; she only wore a simple top and jeans if she had to go for a meeting.  She lived in Switzerland. One day she got a mail in the mailbox that was colored golden. It said ‘To Amy Willows Please note that this is a very important mail. Whatever you do, DO NOT lose it or show it to anyone’ on the cover. She took all of her mails to her room and opened the Golden one first. She read it out loud.
This is what was written in the mail:
Amy Willows, you have been invited to Transylvania for a VERY important discussion. This discussion is about the Vampires. I have sent a coupon for you to stay in Highland hotel. The room number is written in the coupon. Show it to the receptionist before you check in. I will meet you near Draculawench Park on 1^st of September.
From, Anonymous.
The note seemed suspicious to her but she wanted to find out the mystery of such an invitation. She opened her teal laptop to book a ticket to Transylvania but all the tickets were sold out so she had to go on another website. She booked a ticket for August 30^th. At night she went to sleep in her comfy bed. The next day she got ready and took a taxi to the airport. She was regretting to have booked a ticket from that website. The aircraft was SO tiny! She had to squeeze herself between two old ladies. While she was sleeping, the airhostess served the food and woke her up. There were three food items, Blood Custe Pie, Mixed Sanwa and Spice Lice Dice. She immediately threw up after eating the Blood Custe Pie. It was just disgusting!!! It tasted like worms that were crushed out and it was red. She wanted to get off the plane as soon as she could. She spent the rest of her time in the washroom (AT LEAST the washroom was clean). She was relieved when the plane landed and she was the first to go out of the plane. It was her worst experience in a plane! Once she got out of the airport a driver was holding her name up. She walked towards him and he asked if she was REALLY Amy Willows. She said ‘Yes’ for the 7^th time. She even showed her passport. The hotel car driver believed her and took her to Highland Hotel. The hotel looked very old fashioned. Amy gave the coupon to the receptionist and he gave her the directions. The elevator looked really weird; It was pleated with gold and silver rods. However, when Amy entered her room. She almost fainted!! The room looked SO gorgeous. The bed was a queen sized with a very soft mattress. The bed was covered with a black and white blanket and there were 2 big pillows, 2 medium pillows and 2 tiny pillows! There was 1 medium drawer beside each of the bed’s side. The cupboard looked amazing!  It was a cream white wooden cupboard. The rest was fabulous!! She took a shower and got changed into her night clothes. There was one liquid soap called ‘Crimson Deluxe’ It smelled like vanilla and rose. She went to sleep in her comfy bed at 12:30a.m. She didn’t take dinner because the hotel restaurant was closed. The next morning when she woke up she heard a knock on the door. She walked lazily out of her bed and opened the door. It was a waiter holding her breakfast on a tray. She said “Thank you” in a very low and creaky voice and then took the tray to her bed and started to eat. This time her food was finger-licking good! There was one hot chicken puff, mint-lemon juice and a chocolate cupcake which had a piece of cherry at the top and vanilla frosting. There was also a message on the tray saying “Amy Willows today is September 1^st and you are supposed to meet at Draculawench Park at night.
P.S Enjoy your breakfast!”
Amy had totally forgotten why she had come there! She was just enjoying her food. She took a morning walk and then stopped by a restaurant called ‘Vampire’s Den’ to have lunch. The inside of the restaurant was themed like a Vampire’s cottage. The tables were shaped like ancient tables and the chairs looked like mini coffins. She ordered a simple lunch. She had ordered fried shrimps (mini) and some rice. The lunch was quite delicious. She spent the rest of her time window shopping in the malls. It was already 8:30p.m by then so she went out to eat dinner. She was getting ready for meeting the mysterious person at Draculawench Park. She was waiting at the Park by a bench from 12:00a.m
No one was there, everyone went to their rooms by 11:00p.m Amy was the only one there. After 30 minutes when it was 12:30a.m she saw 3 men coming from the entrance. It was foggy that night so she couldn’t see them properly. They disappeared while walking. Amy was looking around but one of the men covered her mouth will a cloth and gave her a sleeping injection. She fainted right after she got that injection. The men took her to some secret hideout, and then they woke her up by giving another injection. She was crying for help but no one could hear her. The men were wearing masks so she couldn’t see them. They bit her neck, trying to convert her into their vampire family. But she was of no use to them; so they stabbed her rightaway. Amy didn’t know that this was her last night ever…
After a few days later, when she was found missing, an investigation committee was set up…

   Chloe was an intelligent, beautiful and inquisitive girl with red hair. She  lived in Houston, Texas and had a wonderful family, best friend and a pleasant school. One day while she was going to her school, she saw Holly, her best friend, Holly was writing something in her diary near the school gate. Chloe went over to her to see what she was doing, Holly was continuing her work and she didn’t see Chloe was coming; Chloe was hiding behind the oak tree and secretly peeping.
She could only see a few lines but…whatever she saw frightened her to death. The school bell rang and Holly closed her diary and ran to enter because if she was late she would have to go into detention. Chloe went in slowly and quietly. Principal Austin asked her why she was so late. Chloe didn’t say anything. Principal Austin called Chloe’s parents and told them to pick her up because she wasn’t looking well. Her parents got worried and hurried to the school. They sat in the waiting room for Principal Austin to call them. There was a counter where they had to get a number and wait for the principal to call out the number. Chloe’s parents forgot to do that so they had to wait another extra hour. When Principal Austin called out their number, they came in to see what had happened to Chloe. Chloe was flooded with tears coming down her eyes. Her parents hugged her and asked her what happened. Chloe still didn’t reply, she kept sobbing. Principal Austin said “Chloe is very upset; please find out what is troubling her.” Her mom said “we will try out best to find out what is troubling her.” Her parents took her home and pampered her. Chloe was still crying. Her parents were getting more worried and didn’t know what to do. At evening, Chloe finally stopped crying but she wouldn’t talk to anyone! She just sat quietly in her room and hugged her teddy.

 It was dinner time but still Chloe was in her bedroom. Her mom went inside and convinced her to come out. Chloe refused to eat food and ran back to her bedroom and locked the door so that no one could enter. Her parents were really frightened. Few days went on like this but Chloe wouldn’t open her lock unless she would have to go to the bathroom. She kept on refusing to eat and became skinnier day by day. Then one day her parents finally decided to take her to the doctor and find out what was wrong with her. But first her parents had to think of a way to convince her to go to the doctor. They told her that they are taking her to her favorite shopping mall. Chloe couldn’t refuse because she loved the mall. She said ‘Ok…’ very sorely. Her parents took her to the car and told her to say calm. But it wasn’t soon enough that she knew her parents were taking her to the doctor. She was hyper in her actions! Her dad parked the car in the parking lot and everyone got out of the car. As soon as Chloe got out she started running. Her parents didn’t have time to think so they started running after her and somehow caught her because she tripped and hurt her arm. They still took her to the doctor. Chloe was in pain and tears. When they reached the hospital, she was rushed to Dr. Anthony. Dr. Anthony examined her arm and said it was just a normal sprain. Her parents were slightly relieved but when they told Dr. Anthony how she has been acting these days, Dr. Anthony took her to take some tests. He came out of the testing room with worried expressions. It seems that all the reports were normal but she showed some signs of mental disorder. Dr. Anthony also told that she NEEDS to eat something! She is way too skinny and if she doesn’t eat anything properly, she would be in a very serious trouble. Dr. Anthony told to admit her in Annabelle Moon Hospital. Chloe parents took her straight to Annabelle Moon Hospital. They admitted her and her mom and dad hugged her and assured her that they would be available anytime. Chloe was quietly crying because she was missing her parents. Her nurse gave her some food to eat but she ate something but spat it out later. She didn’t eat anything for 3 weeks!! She was extremely hungry but couldn’t have anything . The next day, she looked like a live skeleton. The doctor came and took some tests. He told she has a disease which chokes the food in her throat. She was shifted to ICU. The whole day went fine until night because she couldn’t even eat dinner! She was forced to eat but vomited the food later. Chloe was desperately crying at night but nobody noticed. The next day Holly called Chloe and her mom picked the phone up and told Holly the whole story. Holly was shocked! She rushed to Annabelle Moon Hospital and took an appointment to visit Chloe. When Chloe saw Holly, she went out of control! All the nurses came to calm her and took her to the ‘Mental’ section. Holly was confused, she wanted to talk to Chloe but visitors weren’t allowed to visit that section. Nurse Bella called Chloe’s parents and told what happened when Holly came to visit her. Her parents guessed that Chloe’s behavior had to do something with Holly but then they received another call from the hospital. They picked it up and it was Chloe’s nurse. She told that Chloe has been starving for about a month now and her heart could stop anytime! Her parents rushed to the hospital but…sadly they were too late…Chloe couldn’t make it.
Holly was confused but she perhaps knew the answer… 

NIGHTFALL MYSTERY

Michaela was a sensitive, unobtrusive, stubborn, thin and gorgeous girl with blue eyes, silky blonde hair and a diamond shaped face. On July, Michaela was planning to tour Spain but unfortunately her office work load was too much. She lived in Sherman Oaks in California and she owned a medium-sized cottage near a forest. She had a puppy named ‘Becky’. On a Thursday Michaela went shopping with her best friend, Selena. While shopping Michaela got a phone call for a job interview at the West Twist Mall as a Shopkeeper for the new store ‘Blingz’. Michaela was extremely overwhelmed! After they finished their shopping Michaela went straight to her office to resign from her current job, due to avid anticipation. Her boss was confused because Michaela didn’t even get the job but she still was resigning but the boss let her quit and showed her a ‘Thumps up’ when she was about to close the door, he also told her if she didn’t get the job she could come back to her old job but she said she was sure she would get the job. The boss was slightly upset because Michaela was a brilliant worker but she was a very late comer. The next day Michaela was getting ready for the interview. She wore white sleeveless top covered with a black half jacket with buttons and white denim jeans, for accessories she wore white hoop earrings and a charm necklace Selena had gifted her. For makeup she wore light pink lipstick, white eye shadow and very light pinkish peach blush. When she reached there, an odd looking man took her to the chamber and gave her a form to fill up. She went through the particulars and filled it up very diligently…

After finishing she gave the form to the man. The man went inside the shop and gave the form to a young lady. The lady called out her name and she went in slowly, the lady had a cryptic voice, she whispered to Michaela that she had been given the job. Michaela was really overjoyed with a sense of contentment but a little afraid too because she needed to be extra punctual for the job. The lady came more close to her and told her that she had to come before nightfall the next day. Michaela took a taxi and went back home. When she opened the door…her house was a mess! She examined the entire house. Her expensive sapphire earrings and 1 Million Dollars, her life-long earning, were missing. She called Selena but Selena also couldn’t find any trace what had happened but abruptly everything made sense to Michaela. She alleged the young lady and the strange looking man because when the odd looking man gave her the form it had asked the address and maybe the young lady had robbed the house. She told Selena everything that happened in the interview. Then Selena called the police and Michaela and Selena explained everything to the police. The police said that they will also go with her to West Twist Mall at nightfall. The following day Michaela and Selena were getting ready to go. Both of them and the police reached there but the mall was not open because that day was a holiday. Michaela was desperate, unexpectedly her phone started ringing and when she picked it up it was the lady! The lady said to meet her at the Elisa Coast. She told the police what the lady had said. The police took Michaela and Selena and drove off to the Elisa Coast. The beach was really far away from Sherman Oaks so it took about 2-3 hours to reach there. The Elisa Coast was not popular so it was quite empty there when they reached. A young lady waved to Michaela and she went running to see if her missing money and earrings were with her. But unfortunately, to her utter disappointment, it wasn’t the same lady. However, this particular young lady told that the job was counterfeit; she said that they were very precarious burglars and no one could ever catch them because they keep changing their appearances and their addresses. Michaela clandestinely called Selena and Selena called the police. The police sauntered slowly away from the spot with a sense of defeat. However, Michaela and Selena thanked the police for accompanying them. All the people in the beach have heard of the tragedy. It was just the beginning of Nightfall… The lady was finally discovered with her gang (as per the newspaper report) and were arrested. Michaela went back to her old job, everything went normal as usual but...a few years later when Michaela turned 25, She disappeared…and the Elisa Coast was sauntered by spirits in the orangish twilight, before the night fell…
